The Resource Management support the economic activities of the County, promote the health of it residents, and protect the natural environment in which these functions take place. The integrated nature of a Resource Management Department is structured to respond to this challenge through management of personnel and resources to fulfill target programs and service needs on an annual basis. The Planning Division has primary responsibility for zoning and land use permits as well as long-range planning and local administration of State environmental review laws.
